Hydrate is built privacy-first. Your hydration history is local-first, account-free, and never sold.
No Accounts, No Advertising Tracking
Hydrate does not require an account, email address, or phone number. We do not use advertising IDs or tracking pixels, and we do not sell your data.
Local-First Data
Your hydration history, drink preferences, and goal settings are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, your data syncs through your Apple iCloud account. We never see your hydration history.
Apple Health
Apple Health integration is optional. With your permission, Hydrate can read water-intake samples and write logged water as dietary water samples. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app.
Location
Location access is optional and used only when you opt in to weather-based goal adjustments. Hydrate uses location to request local weather from Apple Weather. Your location is not sold or used for advertising.
Diagnostics
Hydrate includes optional diagnostics for reliability and product improvement. Diagnostics are off by default for new installs and can be changed in Settings. Diagnostic events do not include your name, email, or advertising identifiers.
Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.
